There is no better way to surprise your boyfriend or dear gay friends than a rainbow cake. Not only it does it represent the LGBT pride flag, it’s also colorful, fun and suspiciously delicious! Rainbows are always so magical and vivid, and they will make your boyfriend smile every time you serve this wonderful cake (oh, forget about the carbs for one night!).
There are many recipes for rainbow cakes out there, but we have settled for two. The first comes from a lovely British lady called Cupcake Jemma, who runs Crumbs & Doilie, a rather magical place in London which makes awesome cupcakes. She also has a YouTube channel where we found her fantastic recipe.
The second recipe comes directly from the first lady of food. Betty Crocker (who is a fictional character and a brand icon, just to make things clear) has expressed her support for gay people and also gave us this incredible recipe for rainbow cake. What better way to cheer up your boyfriend after a long and tedious working week? You can find the whole recipe here. In addition, rainbow cakes are a great choice for birthdays and family gatherings, since the kid is you will love them! It’s also a great way to celebrate Gay pride when the parade comes to your town.
