Stay warm at Benidorm!

Spain has a lot to offer to an ambitious gay traveler – it has not only Sitges and recently had the first gay wedding between police officers in the world, but it also has Benidorm! While Benidorm was once a small fishing village with underdeveloped infrastructure, today it’s a major tourist resort with sprawling skyscrapers, beautiful Mediterranean beaches and a huge gay community!

Benidorm hotness.

Since Benidorm is bigger than most tourist towns, it’s best to stay in so called Old Town – Apartamentos Atlantida, Hotel Roca-Mar, Deloix Aqua Center… are just a few of numerous hotels you can stay in with your boyfriend or husband. Old Town has a huge number of gay clubs and bars; more than three dozen!

Bears bar, Benidorm.

Bears Bar offers a cozy bar; the basement has a maze, a darkroom and a sling, if you’re into that kind of fun! There’s always the 7th Heaven bar if you’re more into relaxed chill out; Barcode bar is there if you want your men on the mature side. There’s El Papagayo, Diva Divo, Lovers, Oliver’s Bar, Mercury, Peoples, H2O Sauna… basically, there’s something for everyone: from clubs with younger, twinkish crowds to casual bars for friendly meetings and cafés with mixed crowd.

Poniente beach.

Poniente Beach is one of the biggest beaches in Benidorm (more than 3km long) and its gay part is somewhere near the Old Town, in the vicinity of ReFuel Café. Mal Pas beach and Levante beach are also know to attract huge gay crowds; and a few kilometers outside of Benidorm lies Raco Conil, a beautiful, secluded gay nude beach.

Small but nudist: Raco Conil.

It doesn’t matter if you are planning to meet new friends or have a quality time with someone you’ve found on – Benidorm is charming, beautiful and hosts guys as hot as the Mediterranean sun in July!
