Called the Silicon Valley of Mexico, Guadalajara is beautiful, seductive and charming. The thing you absolutely need to see is so-called Rotunda of the Illustrious Men – it’s near Guadalajara Cathedral (another beautiful sight) and holds the remains of every important individuals who contributed something to the city.

The Guadalajara Cathedral is a sight to behold – it was destroyed several times, so it represents a unique blend of architectural styles. It holds some impressive artwork, but it’s best to visit it during the night to catch warm, soft lights that bathe the façade!
