The Phoenix is hugely popular and is always packed on weekends – so make sure you get there on time! With go-go boys and outdoor patio, you won’t have any trouble having fun or meeting someone new.
Big Chicks is one of the best gay bars in Chicago, and it’s also a home to an extensive collection of art and photos (courtesy of the owner Michelle Fire). It’s a favorite bar for many of Chicago residents – with a free barbecue and Bear Den cocktail hour on Thursdays, it’s definitely a must see if you’re into bears, otters and wolves!
Minibar Ultra Lounge & Café
Minibar Ultra attracts a younger (20- and 30 – something) crowd – but the biggest plus is the fact that bartenders seem to be allergic to shirts! Yeah, they take them off once the place gets filled, allowing you to ogle and enjoy!
