If there is a landscape or a natural monument anywhere in the world ready to be classified as gay, that would have to be Lake Hillier in Recherche Archipelago of Australia! If you love adventures, thunders from down under, hot Sidney guys and interesting landmarks, it’s high time to pack your bags and visit Australia – and you can do it easily thanks to yec.com!
What makes this small lake so special? Well – its color! Lake Hillier is of bubblegum pink color – not turquoise or deep blue like other, more normal lakes. It’s about six hundred meters long and two hundred meters wide, with a nice sandy rim; the catch is that the only organism in the lake is Dunaliella salina, an algae which causes salt in the lake to make the pink-red color.
You and your partner can reach it by helicopter or thanks to cruise ships – and Lake Hillier is very safe for swimming, so pack up your pink bathing suits and have a great adventure!
