Portuguese cuisine: A master class for the palate! (II)

There are two things we all like: hot guys and delicious food. While yec.com can help you find your man with whom you can enjoy in travels and sights, there comes a time when you want to show off and impress him with your knowledge of the local cuisine… and if you happen to be in Portugal at a time, all the better, because we’ll show you more of the best Portuguese fantastic dishes!

Polvo à Lagareiro is a traditional octopus dish – Portugal is abundant in seafood, and you can get this delight in most restaurants!

Sardinhas assadas (grilled sardines) come in a variety of forms: some are served with veggies, some come with grilled potatoes or sun dried tomatoes. Whatever variety is served in the restaurant you’re visiting, you’ll surely enjoy it!

Amêijoas à Bulhão Pato (yeah, we can’t pronounce it either) are clams. That’s nothing special in itself, but the sauce is simply to die for! Made from olive oil, garlic and some other secret ingredients, it’ll make your mouth water!

Sapateira recheada is, obviously, a crab. But it’s also so much more: stone crab is served stuffed with its own meat and other goodness (mostly potato salad) which gives it a uniquely rich flavor.
