Renowned photographer Tom Atwood recently published his book called “Kings and Queens in their castles” – and it’s proving to be a big hit. No, it’s not another bare it all calendar or something erotic; it’s a wonderful book that showcases LGBT celebrities and heroes in regular, everyday settings, allowing us to connect with them on a deeper level.
Atwood photographed more than 350 people over the course of 15 years – that fact alone would have been astonishing! Unfortunately, “only” 160 people made it into the book and those include Meredith Baxter, Alan Cumming, Don Lemon, John Waters and George Takei.
Take a look at some of these wonderful photo portraits – of course, if you want to find a guy who would love to be photographed with you, it’s time to check out yec.com and find that cute travel buddy!
This is John Berendt, the guy who wrote “Midnight in the garden of good and evil”.
This is Don Lemon, CNN anchor.
Meredith Baxter – Family Ties, Glee, Family.
Jim McGreevey, former NJ governor.
Allan Cumming, who needs absolutely no introduction.
Michael Urie, of Ugly Betty fame.
Doug Spearman and Anthony Samuel, from Charmed, ST Voyager, Parenthood, Avenged.
